Flannel Friday was started by Melissa over at Mel's Desk. Every Friday, she posted a new flannel board she made. One fateful day, she asked her fellow Children's Librarians if they would like to join in the fun and #flannelfriday was born (the other group using that hash tag actually wears flannel shirts on Friday, but if they wear flannel shirts, they must be cool enough to share).
We've come a long way since then! We now have our very own Flannel Friday blog to share information and past roundups. Please stop by and take a look, especially if you'd like to join in the fun. We can also be found on Pinterest and Facebook.
