Good Morning
Good morning, good morning
Good morning to you
Good morning, good morning
And how do you do?
--Miss Lucy

Hello, How Are You?
Sung to: "Skip to My Lou"

Hello, how are you?
Hello, how are you?
Hello, how are you?
How are you today?

I am fine, how about you?
I am fine, how about you?
I am fine, how about you?
How are you today?

It’s good to see (name) here.
It’s good to see (name) here.
It’s good to see (name) here.
How are you today?

(repeat verse until all children are greeted)

Repeat verse 1

Action/Gross Motor Rhyme

Open Shut Them
Open, shut them, open, shut them.
Give a great big clap!
Open, shut them, open, shut them.
Put them in your lap.
Creep them, creep them,
To your chin.
Creep them, creep them,
But do not let them in!
(repeat verse 1 using little instead of great big for clap)

Read Together

Hand each parent a classroom copy of a board book. Read the book aloud while the caregivers and babies read together. Afterwards, allow time for babies to explore the book some more on their own.

The More We Get Together
The more we get together,
Together, together.
The more we get together,
The happier we’ll be.
Because your friends are my friends,
And my friends are your friends.
The more we get together,
The happier we’ll be.
--Traditional

Playtime
Set out the bin of toys and allow babies to play for the last 10 or 15 minutes of class.

Clean Up Song

Sung to: Mary Had a Little Lamb
It’s time to put the toys away,
Toys away, toys away.
It’s time to put the toys away,
We’ll see them again next time.

Clean Up Song #2
Clean up, clean up,
Everybody everywhere.
Clean up, clean up,
Everybody do your share.
