It's Friday! This week I have two inspired bys to share: Five Hoot Owls and Five Dirty Pigs.
Five Hoot Owls
Five hoot owls sitting in a tree
One flew away! How many do you see?
One, two, three, four.
One flew away! How many do you see?
One, two, three, four.
Four hoot owls sitting in a tree
One flew away! How many do you see?
One, two, three.
One flew away! How many do you see?
One, two, three.
Three hoot owls… etc.

Leah has a nice printable template available for this song, too. Thanks Leah!!
Five Dirty Pigs
Five pigs so squeaky clean
Cleanest you’ve ever seen
Wanted to go outside and play
Oink! Oink!
One jumped into the mud
Landed with a big THUD
Then there were four clean squeaky pigs.
Cleanest you’ve ever seen
Wanted to go outside and play
Oink! Oink!
One jumped into the mud
Landed with a big THUD
Then there were four clean squeaky pigs.

Alternately, you could use this song:
Five Little
Piggies
Five
little piggies rolling in the mud.
Squishy,
squashy, felt so good!
Then
along came the farmer,
who
took one for a bath.
Continue to
one little piggy
Angela is hosting the roundup today at her blog ValleyStorytime. Catch up with the gang at our Facebook page, and hang out with us on Pinterest!
I totally made those owls for my story time this week too. I was doing night/day! I loved having the template. Made my non-artistic skills so much easier.
