Craft
I ordered these Easter Egg Magnet Kits from Oriental Trading. Everything came prepackaged and was self-adhesive, so all I had to do was hand them out. They gave me a nice break from preparing crafts.

Egg Shakers

I've wanted to make myself a set of egg shakers for quite some time, but never got around to it. But today I found the perfect set of plastic eggs for $3.50. They even come with their own case!

Right away I found some popcorn kernels, warmed up the glue gun, and got to work! I figured out real quick that I'm not coordinated enough to put the glue around the edge of the egg and quickly put the top on, so I had to resort to snapping the egg closed then gluing the seam shut. I double checked the quality of the hold by trying with all my might to open one back up, and the glue did not fail me!

The seams might look a little rough, but I don't think the babies and toddlers will know the difference.

I can't wait to try them out at my Eggcellent storytime next week!
