Craft: Sticky Shapes. Materials: construction paper, contact paper, and foam shapes. The caregivers peeled the covering off of the contact paper and the toddlers stuck their foam pieces to the sticky sheet. As they worked, they counted their shapes.

Special
Activity: I placed pictures of money on the felt board and asked the preschoolers
what the names were. I then asked the children how people get money and what
they buy with it. I explained the difference between spending money and
saving it in a piggy bank.
Craft: Piggy Banks. Materials: small paper bag, glue, tape, construction paper crayons, and scissors. The preschoolers thought about what they’d like to buy with the money they’ll save in their piggy banks (paper bags). They drew the item on the paper bag and told me about their plans.
