Storytime - Sneaky Ninjas

Toddler

For information on my magnetic version of this story, see my post here.

Songs / Rhymes: “Good Morning”, “Hello, How Are You?”, “Open, Shut Them”, “If You’re Happy and You Know It”, “Ninja, Ninja”, and “The More We Get Together”.

Craft: Paper Ninjas. Materials: die cut construction paper circles in flesh tones, black construction paper half circles, red construction paper kerchief ties, a full sheet of grey paper, googly eyes, crayons, glue, and tape. The toddlers glued their materials to the grey paper to make the face of a ninja. The idea came from Kara's Party Ideas.

Preschool

Songs / Rhymes: “Welcome to the Library”, “Hello, How Are You?”, “Open, Shut Them”, “If You’re Happy and You Know It”, “Ninja, Ninja”, “A Tooty Tah”, and “The More We Get Together”.

Craft: Ninja Door Hangers. Materials: print out of door hanger on white cardstock, glue, tape, crayons, and scissors. The preschoolers colored their hangers, folded them over, and glued them together. Their caregivers cut out the spaces for the door knob. The door hangers are available here.
